the place was clean, i booked the queen room with city views, everything was great. enjoyed a safe box, a mini-bar, and central heating in the room. the location of the hotel was very central, so close to major sights, good food and a train station, town square, shops, restaurants and to florence in one direction. the vibe here was quiet. besides, there was public parking nearby.

The staff are friendly, and helpful with advice about local restaurants and sights.
The included breakfast was nice, but a bit limited. It would have been nice to have some cold meats, boiled eggs, or some nice sliced cheeses(the only cheese was a soft packet cheese).

Very friendly and efficient staff. The owner and his family especially his wife, were very eager to make you happy, especially at breakfast time. The breakfast was enjoyable, but we missed the the fried eggs and bacon. Upon the owner asking us how was our first morning breakfast, we told him we missed the eggs and he said that his wife had enough eggs to make 1 omelet only, which they offered to me. They then proceeded to buy eggs that same day, so we all 4 could enjoy omelets, on our second morning. The omelets were great and we were charged extra 10 euros for the 4 omelets at end of our stay. The hotel has a great wine collection in the eating area, which was of great interest to myself and my family, looking at the old dates and places of origin of the different bottles. The hotel had an old fashion appeal to it ,which fitted in with the area in which it is located in. Just across the road was a big square / piazza where many people take a stroll in at night. The overall stay was a pleasant 2 day and night stay at the hotel, just down the road from the train station, very convenient if you using the train as transport, like we did. 30 min train drive from city of Florence and 30 min from Pisa. We went to Pisa by train and enjoyed the outing.
The shower was a bit small, especially for us 3 guys, who are well built and tall, we kept knocking our elbows on the sides when we were showering. Other than that nothing else.

We went to watch our rugby team play in Prato and chose the hotel because of price and location. It was excellent value for money, very clean, with breakfast taken in a comfortable dining room. Parking was no problem, due to the helpful staff and a perfect location. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

The hotel was very well situated near the sites and centre of Prato with views over the mountains. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was spacious
I had specifically asked in advance for a room with a bath, and that was available as promised. However it didn't have a plug. Staff were extemely keen to help but the only replacement didn't really fit.

Delightful family-run hotel in historical centre of Prato, two minutes walk to train station - gateway to all of Tuscany. Lovely old building with all the mod cons of a modern hotel.
